Our client, a local sand mine near Bundaberg, is currently seeking a Wet Plant Operator to join their team. This is a casual role with the potential to move into a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate the wet plant including startup and shutdown
Conduct daily SLAMs, hazard identification, and contribute to JSEAs
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping
Attend and contribute to safety, quality, and environmental meetings
Comply with all site operational procedures and safety systems

To be considered for these roles, applicants must possess the following skills and experience and meet the following requirements:
Current Forklift Ticket
Ability to operate wet plant, forklift, front-end loader, and other equipment as directed
Understanding of wet plant processes and sand quality requirements
Ability to troubleshoot plant issues and work independently
Comfortable with shift work, including weekends if required
Must comply with site respiratory PPE requirements (clean-shaven for dust mask use)
Willingness to undergo full medical, respiratory health assessment, and DnA testing
Understanding of obligations under the Mining and Quarrying Safety and Health Act (Section 39)
