HC & MC TRUCK DRIVERS

$35 – $40+ per hour

Degunst Transport is a highly successful Queensland transport company specializing in providing a service to the Sugar and Mining Industries. We are seeking operators to for the 2025 Sugar Crush season.

Our company has built strong ties within the industry and has become a leading transport provider, offering bulk haulage of sugar and by-products throughout Queensland.

With the crush season now in full swing, we have two exciting opportunities for truck driving positions in the Isis and Maryborough regions. Please see the details below:

1. Maryborough Carting Position:

• Hourly Rate: $40+ per hour, full-time

• Requirements: MC truck driver’s license

• Type of Work: Carting cane from Maryborough to Isis Mill

2. Isis Carting Position:

• Hourly Rate: $35-40 per hour, full-time

• Requirements: HC truck driver’s license

• Type of Work: Carting cane within the Childers area to the Isis Mill

To be considered for these roles, applicants must possess the following skills and experience and meet the following requirements:

• Hold a current HC and/or MC truck driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years recent truck driving experience

• Able to attend an interview and complete a driving assessment (desirable)

• Available to work both day and night shifts at 12 hour shifts on a rolling roster

• Have a positive attitude with a motivation to succeed

• Strong safety focus and commitment

• Prepared to commit to the end of the season

• Provide a traffic history check for the last 5 years

• Provide a current Truck Safe Medical

• Comply with the company's Workplace Health and Safety requirements at all times

• Complete the company’s induction process
