Senior Admin Officer

  • We’re looking for a highly organised and experienced Senior Administration Officer to join our client’s team in a full-time capacity. This is a dynamic role ideal for someone with a strong background in administration, HR, payroll, and accounting (including accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations).

    You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of their office and business processes by overseeing core administration tasks, maintaining financial records, and supporting our operations team.

    What You'll Be Doing:

    • Managing accounts receivable and payable, including data entry of freight and raising customer invoices

    • Monitoring customer payment terms and following up outstanding accounts

    • Providing accurate and timely payroll processing and HR administrative support

    • Coordinating recruitment, onboarding, training, and general HR compliance

    • Answering incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately

    • Supporting fellow admin staff and collaborating with the wider operations team

    • Maintaining accurate office records, financial documentation, and internal systems

    • Ensuring business compliance with relevant OH&S standards, policies, and legislation

  • To be considered for these roles, applicants must possess the following skills and experience and meet the following requirements:

    • Extensive experience in administration preferably with solid HR and payroll knowledge

    • Proven experience in accounts payable/receivable and account reconciliation

    • High-level computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word

    • Strong attention to detail and time management skills

    • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment

    • Professional communication and interpersonal skills

    • Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities

    • Experience with office systems and records management

    • Current Driver’s Licence required
